A NOTE FROM THE MANAGEMENT

Dear Parent,
As working professionals of today – we faced a number of situations while our 12-year-old was growing up, which really bothered us as parents.
We were worried about:

  • the safety, care, and nutrition of our child when he was alone at home and we were working
  • who our child communicated with, content he consumed and the overall impact of unsupervised internet access when we were not at home
  • the fact that our child's lungs were being damaged by the amount of air pollution he was breathing every single day
  • our time at home with our child being spent on checking the diary, following up on the homework and rushing to the market to buy school supplies
  • social commitments during the week, as our child had to get up at unearthly hours to go to the school the next day
  • our child travelling to school during the early morning smog hours in winters
  • the impact the heavy school bags & water bottles could have on our child's back
  • the fact that despite paying heavy fees- his school might just be focusing on completing the syllabus rather than personal attention on learning, value inculcation, personality development, spoken skills, and problem-solving skills
  • finding reliable maids, drivers, daycares, tutors, extra coaching classes every year
  • the amount of money spent on after-school programmes being more than the school fees making the cost of raising a child in Gurugram really expensive!
